New blog of Images I have created

I am starting this blog in the hopes of I will use it to start publicly displaying some of the photography work that I have been doing over the years. I think I need a place I can tell people to go look at some of the things that have done and highlight for myself some of the things I have really enjoyed creating. 

Much of the work you will find here has been heavily manipulated and some will fall into the category of out right photographic illustration. I have been told that my images can be a bit on the strange side so I hope that people randomly finding this place enjoy that sort of thing.

What This Is All About

Something In Doc's Eye represents my recent photography focusing on miniature subjects in tableau settings. A modest attempt to create what I hope might be considerd modern works of pictorialism. 

I try to invoke a sense of wonder and to give people tools to craft stories for themselves about what they are seeing. 
I believe that these images will appeal to people that appreciate a subtle melancholy and ornate texture. They may be odd, but hopefully they are undeniably interesting and beautiful.
